About Geena

Geena Williams, a dynamic entrepreneur and passionate advocate for self-care in the Black community, leads The Black Self-Care Sanctuary. In 2018, she launched her brainchild, Black Self-Care Talk, with a focus on nurturing the mental well-being of Black individuals. As the founder of Melanin Parade, a celebration of Black culture, Geena seamlessly combines expertise and creativity to champion self-care as a powerful catalyst for personal growth.

Her journey began with a desire for authentic expression, giving rise to a supportive community within Black Self-Care Talk—a haven for prayer, laughter, and learning. Currently pursuing a degree in psychology, Geena also serves as The Black Self-Care Coach, using her personal experiences to empower others. Her ambition extends to the expansion of Black Self-Care Talk, where she guides numerous Black men and women through transformative self-care practices.
